Pretty cool GMC
You purists might not appreciate this truck. I thought it was totally cool, but I don't mind cutting one up.

Re: Pretty cool GMC
Yeah the hitch was pretty rough. Not trying to beat it up, but the pictures really help the paint. It was definitly "driver" quality paint work.

Re: Pretty cool GMC
i dig the look, but i think it would have been cleaner without the plate box/light. A smooth tailgate would be sick.

Re: Pretty cool GMC
What a clever design concept, looks almost stock. Flaws aside, I think it looks great. Surprising no one has ever done this before.

Re: Pretty cool GMC
I agree.I have seen it done a few times with late 40's AD trucks. First time I have seen this and I had to admire his creativity.

Re: Pretty cool GMC
not too bad...
I think the box fused to the cab would look a little better.

Re: Pretty cool GMC
This is perhaps the best looking use of a Suburban rear half I've seen. They usually look too tall from the rear. I agree that the hitch should have been done differently or not at all.

Re: Pretty cool GMC
That's pretty neat
There was a pic floating here a while back of one done from a sub IIRC it used the top half of the clamshell as the rear window T
