What kind of seats for reg cab 91?
What are the best fitting seats for a 91 regular cab. I got some from a ford taurus and they are too thick, push you too close to the steering wheel. Thanks S

Find some seats from a Blazer or Jimmy. I had some 1985 Blazer buckets in my 91 Sonoma. The brackets fit the floor perfectly. The front floor pan is the same on the trucks and suv's. Also, the extended cab buckets are the same as the suv's.

a lot of GM car seats will bolt up to s10 bucket seat brackets. I've used Fiero,Cavalier,GrandAm and Camaro seatsand they bolted right to my brackets.

Re: What kind of seats for reg cab 91?
Thanks for the advice fella's, Unfortunately in trying to make the seats I have fit, I cut out part of the floor and made my own brackets, so I'll have to start over. The seat that I have is just kind of cushy and puts you too close to the steering wheel. Of course I do have a small sub box behind it. But it really is small. Thats why I was wondering what all you guys are running for seats. Thanks

I walked around a whole day at a pick and pull and found a lot of cavaliers with comfy seats, but they were either stained badly, or torn with cigarette holes, or a color that wouldn't go with my interior...

I put some S10 Blazer seats in my 93 S10, color matches and they are pretty comfortable. I also used a center console from a newer S10 Blazer with the floor shifter.

Re: What kind of seats for reg cab 91?
I'm not sure what year that's out of, I found them at the junk yard for $100 and they were stored indoors (removed from the truck). I would just walk through some junk yards and start getting ideas for seats - I found them through car-part.com

I put seats for a 92 blazer in mine, they bolt right up. If you have a bench you'll have to drill two holes for the inside track but they fir right in.
