help 4wd problem

I got a 85 blazer s10 when u put it in 4wd the front driveshaft turns but the wheels don't turn.What engages them .Can anyone help ,please

you should have automatic locking hubs, which could be shot....if you have manual hubs (which i doubt) they need to be locked..

Yeah...I agree with Prerunner....sounds like your hubs are shot....I think it was pretty rare for those trucks to come with locking hubs....my '92 I had had automatic locking hubs and almost every s-10/15 i've seen hasn't had manual hubs. But they could be out there.

there is a vac line that locks them in if u open your hood ithere will be a box witha vac line that hooks to this box the out comes a cabel that runs down to your axle that what prolly broke i cant remember the name of the part but its held in with 3 8mmbolts eazy fix less than 5 min
