Re: perches anybody!?!?
63-72? (iirc) will all work. The I-6 perches will work with the V-8 as long as they aren't from a 292....
I believe you can use perches from a car of the same era, but i'm not sure

Junkyard or the classified section here.
If you are asking to buy some from a member you are breaking rules. That is considered a WTB post and as a non-subscribing member you aren't allowed to post these types of posts. There is a link in my sig with all the info about becoming a subscribing member.

Re: perches anybody!?!?

Re: perches anybody!?!?
With that attitude, good luck
you agreed to the rules when you signed up, you might want to go back and read them. If you are looking for a vendor, that is not against the rules. But as you can see, it has turned into a thread with someone offering to sell you something in the wrong section (which is one of the reasons for the rules) If you look in the classified section there are several members parting trucks, even one who specializes in selling parts for these trucks....LILRED66....and you a free to purchase whatever you desire over there.

Re: perches anybody!?!?

Re: perches anybody!?!?
blackmopar- XIV. As of October 15th 2005 subscribing members will be the only ones permitted to post for sale and want to buy ads on any classified section of this site.
These rules are put in place to help protect the forum members from scammers. If you had asked for a source, this wouldn't be a problem. Making a "wanted to buy" post is a privilege reserved for subscribing members, and then it should be in the correct forum. If you feel the rules here are to "douchey" for you please let send me a PM. I will be glad to explain them in further detail. In the interim, you should consider checking your negative attitude toward the forum. You will find that it is not appreciated, and will result in infractions against your account.

Re: perches anybody!?!?
ok - my opinion is that the rule is lame - I hope Im entitled to that without fear of infraction or resentment from you guys. i also realize this is not my site - I also told Joe I meant no disrespect with my response and that I wasnt trying to turn this into some stupid virtual argument - Ill lose - Im not that stupid
I dont have a negative attitude toward this site - I like this site - If responding to your and Joes comments with my opnion is unreasonable then I guess Im breaking another one of your rules. Please remember, this is all because I was asking for a source for a perch! |

Re: perches anybody!?!?
I used a pair off of a 78 and just cut them down, they work great, not original looking, but I just want the motor in the truck with out it falling out.
