metal fuel lineto the carb?
hey guys,
I want to make a metal fuel line from the fuel pump up to the carb. I had two questions. 1.What fittings will i use to attach to the 90* elbow coming out of the fuel pump. 2. Will an standard 45* double flair work for this application? thanks, just trying to do small little winter jobs to stay busy. ian |

Re: metal fuel lineto the carb?
had the same issue not to long ago I used 3/8" brake fitting and steel line. I ran it as far as I could up the block to the fuel filter. check out the old thread.

Re: metal fuel lineto the carb?
The 3/8 male flair fitting on the line should screw right into the pump but you will need a good tube bender to make the 90 degree bend.
It's probably best to use a piece of welding rod or coat hanger to make your pattern with to get the right bends if you don't have the old tubing. |
