TX 88-98 3/4 ton 8 lug 4.10 posi 9.5" Rear Axle, 1 ton SRW springs - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I pulled this axle out of a 93 3/4 ton 4x4 since the parts truck I had had a full floater rear axle and is "heavier duty". I bought the truck it came out of not running and swapped this axle out beofre I ever drove it, so I cannot say whether or not it mad any noise or not. I did pull the rear cover to check that the ratios between the two axles were the same before swapping, and nothing looked out of the ordinary. I did not think to take a pic at the time. Prospective buyers are welcome to pull the cover or do anything the need to do for inspection before buying. There is a little leakage evident at the pinion seal. There was still plenty of fluid in the axle when i pulled the cover.

NO OIL CURRENTLY IN THE AXLE

No shipping.

$150 for axle and drums, no wheels $50 for mid 80's (non rally) steel wheels and old tires that hold air for a week or two

I also have the following:
Rear springs out of the donor truck. It is a 1 ton single rear wheel. I believe they are 56" eye to eye. $100 pair

Complete 8 lug 2wd front suspension. $150 You pull al the pieces, or I can use my "hot wrench" (torch) to cut the frame at the firewall.

The truck has not been wrecked. I bought it as a parts truck w/ no title.
