Boxing the frame in strategic places.
I installed my c-notch today on one side and have decided I would box in some areas that would do the best to strengthen and stiffen the chassis as I am wanting some decent canyon run ability w this. I came to the decision looking at the extra material I have from boxing the rear notches. It has front and rear sway bars and I have tubular control arms on the way now and lowered 3.5/5. So what places would you, or have you boxed your frame, for good strength?

I'm no expert by any means, but, I would box in any area that the suspension or drive train components attach to the frame to keep it from flexing. For example, the trans cross member, trailing arm cross member, ect. I could be wrong, but that is how i would do it.

Here's a bump for ya - I have a similiar setup as well - 69 C10 swb, CPP tubular A-arms, f/r sway bars, 4.5/6 drop and CPP c-notch. Looking to build a Pro-Touring type truck to throw around the curves. I was wanting to do some boxing myself and make my own crossmembers to stiffen things up. I know "Super73" (his board name) has some roadrace chassis building experience, but he usually hangs out in the high performance area. Thanks in advance for any information offered up!
