I have no idea man. They could be. I have no idea how to tell. These are off the 70 Custom10 I bought for my restore project. The truck also had the upper and lower chrome molding so if I was part of that package then these might be OEM.

All the screws and gaskets are still attached that's why there's green masking tape on them where they would mount to the door. The driver gasket is rubber but the passenger side is a piece of plastic that the PO custum built I guess.

Re: Nice set of chrome mirrors

Make sure you grab the plates that are inside the door where these mount. That's if you still have the doors, and since you took them out, they may have fell to the bottom of the inside of the door. They might be already in the pic under the tape, but that's an important piece of hardware. Trevor

Price is too steep. Present an offer I can't refuse. Better yet, provide replacement gaskets and reduce your price.

I'm not spending any money to refurbish these mirrors. They are in near excellent condition. If you want them make me an offer, that's why I posted OBO!

Re: Nice set of chrome mirrors

We are interested in the Mirrors. Look at the top of the glass and there should be an etched date code. If the last digit is a 1 or 2 we would really be interested.
Thanks Paul

If these mirrors are OEM, that's not a bad price at all.

Paul, I do remember something on the mirror at the top of the glass. I won't be home until 8PM or so but I'll get you that info sometime later tonight.

XII. It is against our policy for someone to post a complaint about a members price on whatever they are selling. If you don't like the price then skip it. Let it drop to the bottom on its own. They (potential buyers) will figure it out, why nobody is jumping on that particular item.

6-DMI-2 is the code at the top on the driverside mirror glass.

That's the best I got right now brother. The boss has her camera back and she's not home. If I get a chance I'll try close ups for you.

There's like 3 or 4 little pits on the back ridge of each mirror and you can see in both pics how the driverside top is a little fadded or tarnished compared to the passenger side. That's the only reasons why these are not show condition. These will clean right up to excellent driver condition.

Re: Nice set of chrome mirrors

I really appreciate you checking the date code. I was hoping they would work on Jason's show truck but I believe they are excellent driver quality. By the way your price is fair for very nice original sport mirrors. We will continue looking for some NOS.
Appreciate your effort Paul

Re: Nice set of chrome mirrors

No problem Paul. I'm representing them the best I can and I agree they are excellent driver quality. So at the end of the day, I think I have a great set of OEM sport mirrors. Oh, and still available!

Re: Nice set of chrome mirrors

Is the finish the same condition on both mirrors? The one on the left looks great. It may just be the picture. Is the one on the right as good on the arm chrome?Or is it dulling?

Re: Nice set of chrome mirrors

It may be my eyesight, but the rivets on the mirror heads look slightly different from each other too.

Re: Nice set of chrome mirrors

I think if they are OEM - the part number is stamped on the inside base of the mirror and the are also ID with LH and RH. I have a OE pair sitting my work bench. I'll check 'em.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I check the the OEM ones and as stated above is correct. I looked at a repo one that I have and is stamped just RH or LH. Hope this helps...

Special-K that is correct. The passenger side the finish is perfect, the driver side is a little faded on the top of the arm. All in all still in fantastic shape.

VERY NICE MIRRORS! Repros sell for about this price and are as not as good of quality. I am selling some parts on here myself. I would buy these if I had the sppare $$$. Is there anything you need and would want to swap for?
