sometimes passenger side gets water in truck??
since i have had truck, i notice that when it rains, i get water dripping in on the passenger side. a while back i posted this same issue and someone told me what it was??? since then, i forgot what the parts called. and in last 3weeks ive had bad luck
one day on way to work, had no choice but to run over a wheel in the road. damaged pass fender a door a little. blew tire. then saturday, on way to work, my driver side wheel chose to fall off truck while i was going over bridge. more fender damage. so now id llike to know wat that part is so when i get my fenders i can get the part i need to keep water out of my truck. thanks for any help also, should i get new inner fenders too?? |

Re: sometimes passenger side gets water in truck??
Every time one of mine leaked there (all of them) it turned out to be the seal where the AC box under the hood attached to the firewall. I put some of the sealer that comes in black strips on it and it quit leaking. But if that's the problem, the rear hood seal is bad too so you need another one of those. Also check the sealer under the cowl screen under the wipers. If the trucks rust-free these are the likely culprits. if the truck is more rusty, it could be rust through in various places, especially under the windshield gasket.
