1964 c10

im working on a 64 for a customer. he has a ramjet with a tremec 5 speed , Id like to know if anyone here has done the ramjet motor in this style truck. What headers, pulleys, radiator ect did you use? thanks, oh if you would like to see pics and follow the bulid check it out here www.jmcautoworx.com

Is it the 350 or 502 Ramjet? Might get a few more answers if we know which engine you were working with.

this will be a 350, I have searched everywhere for pics of ramjet in 60-66 but cant find them anywhere.

btw those who saw and liked black 71 we just finished (see pics) it will be back from the upholstery shop at on wed. the 27th. We will have more pics up on the site wed. night.

Well here's a pic of a Ram Jet 350 in a '66 Suburban that belongs to a member here, although I don't remember his name. Of course this one has twin turbos.....

Thanks!! That looks so cool. We just picked up ours today, along with the tranny, pedals, ect. I will post pics again on monday.

Yep that's the one. Seems like he did something different under the hood after the pic I posted. I don't remember just what it was though.

I don't have any personal experience with the RamJet 350, but from what I've read on the internet, the ECM that GM provides with them (the MEFI4) leaves a lot to be desired. If you're interested in improving on the original ECM, get a hold of Mike here http://www.eficonnection.com Not only does he really know his stuff, but at one time he was offering custom engine harnesses with a better ECM specifically for the Ram Jet 350
