cab mounts
hey, I'm changing the cab mounts in my 82 k20 , i got the back bolts out , but the front 2 snapped . is there any other way to get the bolts out other than drilling them , like cutting a acess panel in the floor like i had to in the back. thanks

Re: cab mounts
That's what I had to do with my truck. Cut an access hole big enough to gain access to the bolt. Saw it out, torch it out, whatever needed. The way I cut the access holes were by cutting three sides and bending it out of the way. Then when I was done I just bent it back in place, tacked it in, and applied sealer.

Re: cab mounts
I had to cut holes for the front ones on my '82 cab aswell. Just make sure you measure twice and cut once.

Re: cab mounts
this is a common problem there are several threads regarding this you can search. Unfortunately the tabs that hold the nut in place on the cab for the mount is a poor design and the nut spins out alot of the time
