63" and 57" springs....
Hi. I have an 86 Chevy K5. I recently bought a set of 1 ton axles I have yet to be able to install because I'm still playing around with ideas on what to go with lift wise. Right now I am considering 63" springs in the rear and 57" springs in the front. I'm trying to figure out how I would make the 63" ones work in the rear because of clearance issues. Also I am concerned the front might be too soft with that idea. Anyone ever done this or considered it? If so what all did ya do, encounter and tips or tricks?
I am hoping to stay about 6" lift wise but am willing to go a bit higher if needed. Just no more then an 1" of body lift. I have ORD 4" shackle flip I would like to use and some rear shock mounts about like Springer Suspension makes. The tires I have too are 38.5 just to note.... thanks!
