static drop

Is a static drop 4/6 as good as air suspension drop if I don't haul anything heavy in my 1972 chevy c10? Thanks.

Re: static drop

It's even good if you do haul stuff.
If you have really heavy loads you can use air bags in the place of the rear coil springs.

Search around here in the suspension section.
Alot of members running a 4/6 drop.

Re: static drop

As lolife99 mentioned, you will be fine running a 4/6 even with the occassional load.

Re: static drop

That might depend on how much weight you will be pulling. You could even replace the rear shocks with bags running shrader valves; fill them up more when you need to tow and then air them lower when you want to cruise.

Re: static drop

Thanks guys, I was thinking of getting the 4/6 drop kit from ECE. Can I use this without a c-notch?

Re: static drop

Yes, a c-notch is not required. Refer to my build thread (Project: Blank Slate) for a step by step install.
