center cap size question(aftermarket push thru style)
Guys will a center cap that's 4.250 fit a wheel with a center hole of 4.280? Without pulling thru or whatever?
I ask because I'm looking into some us wheel chrome star 16x8's for my 88 k1500 and they have a 4.280 center bore and the caps are 4.280 also but I like the cragar caps or others which are 4.250 and not .280. I'm thinking they'd work aint much difference but not sure.

Re: center cap size question(aftermarket push thru style)
.030" is only going to be a problem if the "lip" that holds it is smaller than that. Somehow I think it will be fine.

That's what i was thinking they usually have a lil' less then 1/4 lip or around 1/8 lip just wondered if it be just a tad too small.
