Re: 67-72 fool picks up a Big 10? New pics!

The drop is a belltech 6" flip kit with the c-notches, since the guy i got it from added a few extra leaf springs ( i thought i had to take out ) it gave it a 9" drop in the rear! The front was done by using belltech 3" drop spindals and since the back was so low i thought i needed 3" springs ( for a total of 6" ) but i used my factory big block springs and had a the local drop guru charlie from charlies drop shop here in portland re work them and take 2" out of them for the perfect stance with just a hair of front end rake! And then added some nitro drop 2 shocks in all 4 corners. The wheel and tire combo i had just sitting on my unfinished 68 swb show truck so i will buy some new wheels for that. Torque Thrust II 20x10 1/2 rear and 20x9 front 255x35xzr20 goodyears all the way around. I like this truck so much im thinkin about sellin my unfinished 68! is that stupid tell me!

Even though i´m a square body guy i wouldn´t sell the project because it looks great and allready has lots of work in it! Above that i think that the price for an unfinished project would never meet your investments!

Finish the '68, then sell it, if you even want to then. What a transformation, the truck looks amazing!

Big 10 looks awesome.

Agreed on the 68. Complete it and then sell it. It won't sell for nearly as much unfinished...

Truck looks awesome, I cant believe its the same one!

FYI, the Big 10's came with 8 leaves factory. My GMC did too, and I havent removed any yet. I cant imagine why anyone would add extra leaves to one. They ride rough enough unloaded anyways!

Dont sell the '68. It is going to be awesome when complete. Heck its nicer than any vehicle I have right now, including my newer ones!

Im not just saying this to be saying it, but that is one of my all time favorite squares!! I think you got the stance/wheels and tires dead on. It looks great! I know its dorky looking but I would prolly keep the camper just for road trips.. lol Great job

Nice trucks no doubt. I would keep both like previous posts stated. One other thing...what is the back spacing on the wheels? I like the way they look on both trucks.

Wheels/Tires/Stance . Makes or breaks a vehicle and it just made that one . What a difference .
