Column Shift ?'s

I am in the process of changin my 73 back to column shift. I have tried to find a diagram of all the parts needed. I have all the parts from the trans to the arm on steering shaft. What I need to know: is the selector arm the only thing in the column in the cab and is it held in by only a roll pin?

Re: Column Shift ?'s

If all that was removed from the column is the shift lever that's all you need to re-install. But it's not held in place with a regular roll pin, It had a solid pin with a small head with like splines going around it.

Re: Column Shift ?'s

Since you have the lever on the bottom to hook the shift linkage to it's doubtful he took anything else out, If that was missing he would have taken the shift tube out.

I'd install the shift lever and you should be good to go....
