Out-Patient Surgery
I performed a little surgery on the Heap's exhaust this morning. From the day I added the Meg tips to the exhaust the look/placement has bugged me. The pipes were too long and low for my liking. So I pull up in the driveway this morning and I'm starring right at the pipes, that's it, today's the day.
I filled up the rear bags to get her off the ground, grabbed a sawzall, Sharpie, tape measure, couple wrenches, and commenced to cutting. A few minutes with the welder and I think they look way better now. Here's a "Before" and a couple "After" shots.........................

Re: Out-Patient Surgery
That helped a ton. Nice job. Placement of exhaust is one of those things that bugs mee too when it is "not right".

Re: Out-Patient Surgery
Thanks to all!
Now I'm trying to decide between the black tips and a brand new pair of still in the box chrome duplicates.

Re: Out-Patient Surgery
IMO, A little chrome on the back could add a little more bling to it !

Re: Out-Patient Surgery
IMO, either black or chrome will look good but the chrome tips require a bit more upkeep to keep that shine.
