It would be nice to take a ride down South and see if the snow would make it there unmelted!!!

Re: Want to buy some snow? (84 GMC)
I don't know - they keep saying we are going to get it here in CT. It was supposed to come this afternoon and we were going to get 8"-14". Schools and everything cancelled, it's almost 8pm and I don't see what the big deal is about. I know the coast got a little more, but I'm pretty disappointed. I hope I wake up and see a little more.
Is that truck 4x4?

Re: Want to buy some snow? (84 GMC)
Its 2wd. Always wished it was a 4x4 but I guess it would be more complicated w/transfer case and another differential up front. Had a little difficulty backing out of the driveway this afternoon. Had to move it out of the way to get the snowblower through and in the process I went over then snow, compacted it and make it impossible for the snowblower to grab all the snow. Left it at the bottom of the driveway.

Re: Want to buy some snow? (84 GMC)
I would love some. We have only had 20" all winter up here. I think it is because I brought the tire chains up last summer....

Re: Want to buy some snow? (84 GMC)
My buddy & I took a trip from here in Northern CO to Phoenix in December shortly after a decent little storm. We had about a foot of snow in the bed when we left. After driving straight through, we still had enough to make a couple snow balls and throw them around under the palm trees in Phoenix. It was kind of a funny feeling.

Re: Want to buy some snow? (84 GMC)
That is all from today. It looked just as bad after Friday's snow. I had all the vehicles dug out from Friday and ran the truck up to Harrisburg on Sunday for the Eastern Sports and Outdoor show. This is the pits.

I don't understand what the big deal is. You guys make it sound like the Northeast never gets snow and no one has equipment to remove it. It wasn't national news the last time it snowed in Minnesota.
