'60-'66 Chevy 4x4 transfer case T221
I am looking for a few items for a factory T221 divorced transfer case from a '60-'66 Chevy 4x4 truck. Did this divorced case come in any other years, makes or models? Is there an online source for parts? I sell lots of used parts for '60-'66 Chevy trucks, but I don't have the parts I need for this case.

Re: '60-'66 Chevy 4x4 transfer case T221
The ony way I know to get parts is to buy the whole transfer case. I have bought 3 that I have found on craigslist here in Arizona. You will have to make your own gaskets and you can still buy all the seals and bearings. Quite some time ago there was a transmission shop in Las Vegas that manufactured and sold an input shaft and a gasket and seal kit, but it was pretty pricey. I went to this shop and looked at the shaft and it didn't look like the original. I buy up all the divorced T221 cases that I can that are close to me for my future use and parts.

Currently I am looking for the bearing cover, that looks like a star, as well as, the factory transfer case shifter & mounting bracket. I have a few in pieces, but I need these parts to make them whole.

Re: '60-'66 Chevy 4x4 transfer case T221
Try www.jobrated.com. This guy has parts for my 1959 NP201 and his site says that he has parts for the T233. Not sure if the T221 and the T233 are similar enough to use the same parts but the guy did seem familiar with the Rockwell stuff. If you find anything out, let us know.

Tony, you need the shifter parts for a 4sp or 3sp? I have all the shifter parts for a 3sp. The two are completly different.

Try Drivetrain (www.drivetrain.com) for both overhaul and gasket overhaul kits of your T221 and Quad 4x4 Parts (www.quad4X4.com) for servicing your closed-knuckle front axle.
I have had good luck with both. |

Re: '60-'66 Chevy 4x4 transfer case T221
Rockwell International, called them years ago, they transfered me to their military division.Spoke to one of their guys who sent me a copy of some original drawings and a parts list. I've found the drawings but not the parts list. Maybe you can try calling them directly asking for a parts list. He told me at the time that this was in many vehicles and other applications other than trucks.
FOUND THEM!
