I have a set of 71-72 sport mirrors for sale, left and right side. They are new, aftermarket. One of the mirrors has slightly larger mounting rivets than the other. That is the only difference I can see between the 2 of them. Here is a closeup pic showing the difference between the two. They include gaskets and screws, but no backing plates.

I would like to try to sell them as a pair first. If nobody wants the pair and another person commits to the pass. side, I will sell them separately.

Geoff- Chrome is in perfect new shape....the drivers side mirror head with the larger rivets looks to me like stainless steel for some reason? It might very well be, I am not familiar with the aftermarket companies. The pass. side mirror head with the smaller rivets is definitely chrome. Both mirror arms are definitely chrome. If you look at my 2nd pic above you can see what I mean. My reflection on the left mirror head is not as "sharp" as my reflection on the right mirror head.

If they were mounted, could you tell they were completely different by either their finish or the rivets....I'm not looking to build a show truck....just a driver

I am sorry you feel that way Geoff, but I have been told that the first person to say "I'll take it" gets it. I have always bought/sold parts following this guideline. If I am incorrect on this, Mods please tell me. Flashed was also asking questions, and he was in fact the first person to ask a question as well as the first to commit to buying them.

Not trying to get into a fuss about this item, plenty reprop mirrors out there.....just thought since you said you'd like to sell them both, and I actually was asking questions about both of them, had me up first in line for the purchase....it wasn't clear to me that flashed was still up??...the first person to say they'll take them is important...just a gray area there....I'll continue my search....no hard feelings!
