Re: Hirohata c10? What do you think?
Welcome from the inland Northwest. You've got my vote, that is a killer concept. I've thought about an early Corvette style cove on the side of mine. It's a stepside so the Buick trim wouldn't work, but it sure looks great on a fleetside. That chop looks perfect. Is it real, or a photoshop effort?

Re: Hirohata c10? What do you think?
Thanks for the welcome! Maybe a 2 or 3 years project ( on a budget!! ) Yeap markeb01 it´s actually a 20 minutes of Corel Photo Paint work. Planning on a modified chassis ( not air bags ) 235 inline 6, three on the tree, nothing special about the trans/engine combo, 15 x 7 steelies with cadillac sombrero hubcaps and 205/70/15 wide white walls, 59/60 chevrolet dash and steering wheel and many more i think...

Re: Hirohata c10? What do you think?
I don't really like it because I love the stock lines. With that said, I think it needs lakes and skirts to pull it off...

Re: Hirohata c10? What do you think?
the skirts make it look more like the hirohata... now you need a slight taildragger stance to the rear...not much, maybe just an inch or two.

Re: Hirohata c10? What do you think?
Astrochimp - Something like this?
N2trux - I really love this kind of exhaust, don´t know how this style is called... Yesterday I´d bought a set of 63-64 cadillac hubcaps , I know they´re not sombrero´s but it´s almost impossible to find them here in Argentina. Next week I´ll be buying the 59-60 chevrolet dash ( if the owner wants to, not sure ). I already have the gauges. I must find a newer chassis because the original is in really bad shape and by the other hand I don´t like torsion bar system... And then, I will have to start repairing it... Thanks again everybody! |
