A Cool Find... (Factory Sunvisor Mirror)
I can't believe I never noticed this was there. Since I have owned my 1972 GMC 1500 Super Custom, I have never used the passenger sunvisor. So my daughter was riding with me today and she flips down the passenger sunvisor and says... "Hey Dad... check this out. A mirror!"
I was kinda dumbfounded that it was there... but how cool is that? I'm pretty sure this is an original from the factory or the dealer. ![]() Gary

My truck has one too. Mine is just a plain mirror though. it does not have the travel record & service record. Seems like I saw one recently in the for sale section too.

Re: A Cool Find... (Factory Sunvisor Mirror)
Truck is all original. By that I mean... all orginal rust and dents and paint.
![]() The look I'm goin' for is old farm truck that hauls ass. I have a thread in the "projects" area. Truck is loosely named "Creeping Death"... from an old Metallica song. So that is the thread title... The PO had even went as far as putting aluminized tape over the top chrome piece above the grill to hide all the pitted rust. I just left it there... another thing that just adds to the whole... rusty hot rod I was goin' for. Gary

That is pretty cool, nice find!
Go look under the seat, ash tray, glovebox, etc. and see what else you can find. ![]()

Re: A Cool Find... (Factory Sunvisor Mirror)
That's pretty cool. Didn't you ever notice the clips on the other side when the visor was flipped up though?
