It's a 1979 GMC Sierra C10 with rear leaf springs.

Re: Inexpensive Drop???

Check w/Summit Racing for some spindles & a flip kit. Cut 1/2 to a full coil up front & you're @ 4.5/6 drop.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Inexpensive Drop???

Okay I will def check out summits prices. There always pretty competitive. I knew LMC offerd a 4.5/6 drop kit for around $700 and I was wondering if anyone offerd something competitive in price?

Re: Inexpensive Drop???

Actually I just priced summits least expensive options on spindles, flip kit, c-notch kit, and springs and it came out about the same as LMC's 4.5/6 drop kit. HUMMM may be the same parts source lol...
