cab mounts

So I bought a set of poly cab mounts for my 79 c-10 they are Energy Suspension. the main cab mount bolts are 1/2" dia. and the sleeves are about 11/16" dia. too sloppy for my taste. The radiator core mounts, the bushing that slides through the hole in the frame is 1 3/8" and the hole in the frame is 1 11/16" again too sloppy for my taste. Have you guys had any issues with this? Any other companies that have a bteer fit. I plan to send this back, but wanted your thoughts before I did.

Chris

Re: cab mounts

the size of the wholes are so you can adjust the cab/bed alignment and get everything lining up good. once you tighten the bolts its not going to move anywhere

Re: cab mounts

I just thought the bolts would fit tighter, what about the core support bushing?

Re: cab mounts

thats so you can get the hood gaps lined up on each side, some times they need a little more movement, i used an off brand for poly bushings on a 78 and they were the same way.
