Can I make blazer doors out of truck doors

Well Im new to the 67-72 trucks Ive always had 88-98s and Im now helping a friend with a 70 blazer. (its a big project) It needs new doors and blazers arent nearly as common as trucks so could we just cut off the top window frame? any help would be appreciated

I believe this is the link to cutting down truck doors, if you follow this how to, it will work great, did for me. As far as using the lwb bed floor it does work, take alot of measurements. Also the cross sills at the frame mount locations will have to be changed as the blazer floor sits a little lower to the the frame, look at the areas where body mounts go and you will see. I have done this also and it worked out pretty well, good luck!

The factory basically cut down truck doors so you can too. It really helps to have a Blazer door right there to transfer the measurements from. Don't forget to swap the reinforcement plate from around the latch.

69-72,
we still have the old ones they are just pretty eat up with rot.
Thanks I appreciate the help If its nice next weekend we will start cleaning it up, removing rats nests, empties from 20 years ago this truck hasnt been registered for 16 years so its been sitting a lot.......(it looks like pond scum growing on the roof LOL) but its a project a really big one kinda makes me glad my stuff isnt that old. its not mine so it will make it even more fun helping with it and not paying for the stuff to fix it!

It also helps to use 72 doors since they already have the wing window reinforcement screw.
