no tail lights
My 86 k20 has a few wiring problems and i was wondering if i could get some suggestions on fixing them. First my headlights, brake lights, turn signals and 4 ways all work but my tail lights and marker lights dont work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: no tail lights
start with the ground back there then its test lite time and following the wires back to see if there is power from the sockets to the plugs

Re: no tail lights
HNT, first do what Bob said. If no power when you back probe sockets with bulbs out go underneath aand find harnace plug, pull it appart and do the same probe tests. Some things to look for, are any of the connections green? If they are, cut them out and use heat shrink butt connectors to restore wireing. Does it have a trailer hitch and is the wireing to it hooked in with "scotchlocks"? If so you'll have to cut them out and repair as above. Carefully inspect harnace from back to front looking for green stuff or a swelling of the wire indicating corrosion under the insulation (thats why you NEVER penitrate the insulation with a test light) If you want I'll have you call me at 518-581-1622 so I can explain in detail what you have to do. Re: no tail lights
Check the fuse if fuse is good check the brown wire coming off of the headlight switch with the switch in the on position to see if power is there
