Lowering a 63

I'm sure this has been asked before but I've done a search and can't find specifics. I want to lower my truck as much as possible just using springs to begin with and then later when I have the money ill add dropped spindles up front and blocks in back. The question is, how much of a drop can I get with the springs and where is the best place to buy?

This should get you started....

plus, you can scan the suspension section of this board. Keep in mind, your 63 has the same suspension as the 67-72's. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...splay.php?f=25
Oh, and.... Welcome to the board !!

Re: Lowering a 63

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I was thinking on ordering springs from cpp but i read where several people had a bad experience with them. They do appear to have the best prices on spring kits though.
