Thought i should try and attempt posting some picts and start a thread on my 52 gmc. This truck came out of Northern Manitoba ,by my frend who brought it back to Ontario for his sons to build .Well they did not have any intrest in it ,so i offered to buy it from him .We came up with a price of me weilding a gate up for his yard ,i said sold .Now i am the proud onner of a 52 gmc ,witch was built in Oshawa Ontario.Here is what i got

So then i had some sand blasting done ,installed a orginal 74 mII front end and drop splindles with a posie 10 bolt with mono springs .Replaced the floors and inner cawls ,outer cawl driver side .Baught all new fiberglass fenders and running boards .This truck in the end will have a 383 stroker pushing about 400 ponnys ,still a long way to go .My first ever build

The fenders fit very well ,i had to drill my own holes .The guy i bought them from said if i was not happy with the fit he would give me my money back .I got these for McMillan Cash and Carry in Owen Sound ,Ontario .I had to wait almost 3 months cause the guy is so busy .I don't have any picts of the front right know but i will be taking the front fenders off next weekend so i will get them for you then.

I think it is actually Maynerd. Thats the tow trucks name in the movie.
I have a 6 yr.old granson who loves that movie

I have a 5 year old son and he had a dvd player and he watches this movie every chance he gets. He also has alot of the books that has short stories with the charactures in it. The tow truck's name is MATER. My son has corrected me a many of time when I call him tow-mater he does not like that and has to tell me his correct name.

Love the truck and great progress on it.

Thanks guys ,the truck is comming along slow cas my bose keeps sending me out of town .But told him that i did my time and send someone else.Basicly i have been trying to fit the doors and fenders ,hood .Putting door poppers in and electric windows .I will soon send the cab out for body work .The tank is from a late sixties mustang 67-68,it a 15 gal.I will get some more pics up soon .I do love my mar k Box
