WTB 6 Cyl Power Steering

I am looking for a power steering setup for a 70 250cid 2WD truck. I need the brackets, pump, and anything else you might have for an installation.

Re: WTB 6 Cyl Power Steering

I just saw a complete setup in a mid 70s 1/2 ton pickup last week. I will see if it is still there tomorrow if i can. Any idea what it is worth?

Re: WTB 6 Cyl Power Steering

Anyone have a photo handy of the proper brackets?
Not trying to hijack, not near my parts stash and always forget my camera. I may have one.

Re: WTB 6 Cyl Power Steering

Here's a shortcut to a set-up that's currently on ebay. There's some pretty good pictures of the brackets:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...Q5fAccessories

This appears to be a correct set-up for a truck (notice the 1/2 inch spacing between the belt grooves). Some of the set-up's off of cars (nova's, etc) don't have this spacing.

Re: WTB 6 Cyl Power Steering

Too Much Stuff, thanks, if you would look at it and possible get pictures that would be great. As far as to how much it is worth, that would depend on how complete the set up is.

Looks to be a 1973 and up setup. For motors with the integrated head.

EDIT: Don't mark my words. I could be wrong.

Re: WTB 6 Cyl Power Steering

I'm way far from an expert, but the brackets are exactly like what I just put on my 67.

Re: WTB 6 Cyl Power Steering

yes, they are from a non integrated head ( as you can read in the "ask seller a question" section ) i think the brackets are the right ones for a 250 pre 1973.
best regards

I have the whole setup for an integrated head that came off a 79 Chevy. I heard a couple of board members were able to make it work on their early 250. The setup I have includes AC, PS pulleys, brackets, pump, and a core AC compressor. I will sell for $115 shipped if you can use it. Thanks, Ray
