good find??

i just bought a 1978 sierra grande 250 straight6 i think its a short bed(sorry guys I'm new to the car world always bagged my dad to teach me unfortunately he never did)

she was priced at $650 but with the new carburetor an DMV fees we paid about $1200

it was stolen an they cut the steering wheel off or something so im pushing a pin to start it

i need to replace the water pump but its never been over heated

an theres a small oil leak but it think it has the wrong oil filter on it

so i was wondering if i did good buying it? am i in way over my head? should i just sale it? an how much do u think i could get for it?

Don't get me wrong i love my truck! my brother tho really thinks i should sale it
