Looks kinda like the Victory red that my 97 Silverado was painted from factory.

no clue, everyones computer moniter will be differant. if you could get a chip any paint shop could tell you

The factory red for that truck probably would have been code 72 (?) apple red but that looks a little more orangeish. Maybe something like a color used in 93 or so on Mustangs called Performance red. It had some orangeish tones . Looks too light for Victory red also comparing it to that newer ttruck in the background.

Thanks, i would get a paint chip lol but i got that pic of the net, i like the orangish rd like that, i am thinking of painting my tan truck that color, im ready for a little shine

some paint shops can grab the color off of a photo. print it out on photo paper and see if any of the shops can match it. be prepared for one high price though. red/orange cost the most. my dads girlfriend worked for one of our best places here, they had done some bikes for the biker build off on t.v. and i know they could match paint on photos if the picture was takin outside.

GM Torch Red from '93 or so was very bright and kind of orange like that. I'm not a fan of bright red, but I liked that color on my old Z-34 Lumina.
