decoding vin
Hey I'm trying to figure out what exactly this truck is that I am thinking about buying. It appears to be a '72 short fleet 4x4 cheyenne. It has no glove box ID, In the door jamb there is a tag. From what I've read if the vin begins with C its 2x4 and if it begins with K it is 4x4. Well the first three of the vin are CKE, So what does that mean?
thank you

Re: decoding vin
The C means chevy that was 72 only. the K is 4x4 and the E is v8
