Adding Step Bars (nerf?) from new truck
I'd like to get rid of the running board on my truck but the wife likes to have the step for getting in and out. Has anyone put on step bars from a newer truck. ( I think they are also called 'nerf' bars?) Will the bars for newer trucks mount up to our older frames? I know you can buy them new from LMC but I'd like to keep the cost down. I have seem some on CL but I don't know about the fit.
Anyone have any pics with these type bars? TIA

Re: Adding Step Bars (nerf?) from new truck
Not many guys use them on the 2wd's I see them more on LWB C-20's and 4wd's. They frames change enough each generation that this will require some fab work for the mounting brackets.
