dumb question of the day

I have my '79 truck down to the frame and was wondering how the piece of chrome under the grill mounts. mine is in rough shape and I heard there is one at a junk yard I am going to visit and need to know what tools to take.

thanks

Re: dumb question of the day

I haven't had mine off, but it will be either with screws from the front, or quick nits from the backside (either 3/8 or 7/16 size). You could grab the whole valence by pulling out 8 1/2 sized bolts (2 on each side at the fender, 2 in the center, and 1 by each turn signal).
