Drivers window falls out of track, How to fix?
Hey guys, is this a common problem with these trucks? The drivers window falls out of the track once it gets about halfway down. I thought that the vent window was to blame, but I'm not sure. The weather stripping needs tp be replaced on the inside, but that can't be the only reason.....
I have power windows and the motors seem a little worn out and tired as well. I was going to replace them and thats when I saw how messed up the drivers side was. I'm just not sure as to why it's happening. Any ideas??

Re: Drivers window falls out of track, How to fix?
Mine just did this Saturday. My glass weatherstripping is brand new. I took off the door panel and took a look. It all came down to the rear track. It looks like at one point the track was tack welded to the rear bracket and it finally broke free. So I loosened the bracket and put the track where it is suppose to be. It's a temp fix but that's what caused mine. Hope it helps.

Re: Drivers window falls out of track, How to fix?
Thanks guys. I'll take everything back apart and get a closer look. It wouldn't hurt to replace the window motors anyway so I'll kill two birds with one stone.
