Question What is this???:?????

I want this rig bad. I'm thinking about making an offer to the guy and if he takes it, converting it to a rat rod. I have no idea who made it though, it seems like it would be pretty rare. was thinking about offering him a grand but what do you think? think it would make a sweet rat rod?

Re: What is this???:?????

Not a Diamond REO is it? Just guessing and that comes to mind. An old Dodge?

That would Really look nice on a c-30 chassis with a flatbed!

If I was closer I'd be asking the guy the same question..."would you take $500 for it" and see where it goes. Looks to be in decent shape whatever it titles as.

Re: What is this???:?????

i know it says Diamond on the side! I'd never heard of anything "Diamond".
I think chopping the top a few inches more and lowering it onto a smaller frame. opening up the front fenders, and getting rid of the hood. keeping with the duals, and putting a keg gas tank on the back

Re: What is this???:?????

Well I was close then. Probably it is what was known as a 'Diamond T'. Yes, chances are the owner also knows what he has and it would cost more than $500 to see it in your backyard or mine.

But if one could acquire it, it would be worth the effort if you have enough cash!
Time and money("...it just takes money") could make it look like:http://www.diamondtclassics.com/modu...view_photo.php

Nice truck as it sits. I'd at least ask about it. Would be an interesting conversation if nothing else.

Gawd I must be getting old when I guessed it to be a Diamond!

Re: What is this???:?????

It looks like they used it to establish the neighborhood? Seriously, I don't know what it is although it does look familiar.

Re: What is this???:?????

well reading about diamond T's it seems they were pretty rare, so im not so sure about getting it to turn it into a rat rod anymore. guess id have to find out the date on it, but if there is really less then 100 of these left, it'd be better of restored and in a museum...

Re: What is this???:?????

There are supposedly only a 100 "pick-up truck" Diamond T's, so this one fails to fall into that category. Still a nice truck.

I say ask the guy about this 'diamond in the rough'!

I just wouldn't show too much enthusiasm. Ya never know!

Still think it would look nice on a C-30 chassis.

Good Luck!

Wasn't trying to sell it here. There were a lot of rare pictures referencing the trucks
being discussed. Sorry about not paying you....didn't know.

You posted a link to a vehicle that you have for sale. The reply was fine, but the link was not. When you signed up for membership here you agreed to the rules. Please review them. Some people assume that there are no expences in running this website. Thats far from the case. Stick around. As for me I have to log off now. I'm on double overtime and need to get to the BMW dealership before they close. OK joking.
