can someone give me a hint or a picture as to what the throttle linkage from the firewall to the carb should look like on my 64 inline 6? I am looking to buy one as mine went missing before i picked up the truck. I am lost as to even what i am looking to replace having not ever seen it to begin with. Any help would be great!

Here is a photo of the factory six cylinder carb linkage for a 250 straight six. I have them, so let me know if I can help.

This one is for an automatic truck, so the kickdown is shown, also, but you will not need that unless you truck is an automatic.

One that is not supposed to be, of course. I think it is the brake line, but that would spell diaster. Brake fluid should not be super-heated. I found this photo online, so I am not for certain, but it looks like the brake line.

I have a few trucks with the factory six cylinder throttle linkage, but this is the only photo I had on my laptop, so I thought I would share.

LilRed; PM sent. Thanks a million and it isn't an automatic so the kickdown isn't necessary. And I still haven't found a source that repops these

PM received and returned. I am not aware of any reproduction accelerator linkage assemblies, but let me know if you find them.

Just in case you guys are still wondering, that line hose-clamped to the intake manifold is the vacuum line to the modulator for the automatic transmission.

my truck's a factory 292/powerglide setup similar to that picture.
