Bilstein Shock Question

I just finished my bag install and i need a 10" compressed and a 14" extended shock. I found the 55-067's & the 55-R060's that are 9.8"/14.6".

The 067's are light duty and the 060's are heavy duty. Can anyone recommend which ones would be better for my '69 truck? i was thinking about going with the 060's to give me a stiffer ride.

Where are you guys getting your Bilstein shocks? i tried searching the internet to find the cheapest vendor but i am only getting one site, grantkustoms.com, that has them for $89. is this a good price for bilsteins?

Re: Bilstein Shock Question

The shock part numbers that I listed above are Race Car Dynamics (RCD)shocks, that bilstein makes for them. So they are Bilstein made shocks, but they werent designed (internally) by bilstein. I call Bilstein and they couldnt tell me anything about them other than they make them for RCD.

I called RCD and they told me all about them, but they only sold to vendors. I finally called Grant Kustoms to order them. These particular shocks were designed for bagged vehicles. I ordered the 060's.

Maybe this will help someone in the future.
