Lokar Pedals
I did the search and after looking through 415 pages of build threads and talk about shift linkage I am at a loss.
My 71 has NO gas bedal just the rod and so I figured hey I will stick a lokar pedal on there, well if I am gonna do that may as well update the the clutch pedal pad and brake pad. Only issue is so much of their stuff is universal I can't figure out what will fit and what will be $70 down the toilet. If anyone has some part numbers or advise on this it would be much appreciated.

I went with this one and it worked out Lokar Pedal
Later I saw they made a version with a larger pedal. I wish I had seen it before I bought mine. I think the larger pedal looks better.

Yeah they have an XL version. I was thinking of doing a gas pedal like that and then the matching covers for the clutch and brake. Probably the best idea is to just call them, just curious what other have used from them.

I have used the gas pedal from them that goes down threw the floor its a very truck piece.

I have Lokar pedals. The XLs. I removed my old gas pedal assembly, installed their pedal assembly with their throttle cable and added brake pedal. Simple install.

Can't remember exactly where I got them but Jegs, Summit, Ebay all have Lokar stuff. Ive got a Lokar Billet Throttle pedal assembly(gas, brake, dimmer) firewall mounted with Lokar HiTech Universal braided stainless steel throttle cable. Hope this helps.

If you can hold out long enough, Lokar is developing direct bolt in gas pedal assemblies and matching brake and clutch pedal assemblies.
