72 4 wheel disc

Ok I have disc on all four corners and am to the point of picking out a booster/master setup. My questions are should i stay with the original 9" or used a smaller 7" like some of the venders sell. I am not sure on the amount of vacuum that the engine makes so I'm kinda looking towards the 9". Also what about the proportioning valve, stock style made for disc/disc vs an adjustable one?

Thanks for any input!
