Removable/gutter mount roof rack
Anybody have specific experience and/or recommendations on a removable rack? Looking for something to haul a canoe and long lumber once in a while, preferably without chewing up the paint. Thanks

The standard Yakima gutter racks will work fine for you. You will also need tower extenders because of the higher roof crown.

my dad made a pair of racks using clamps he bought and two 2x4's....25 years ago on his 72 burb. he moved the brackets inboard to fit the rain gutters on his 84 burb but i can easily move them back out and use them on my truck. i like the cleaner look of having no roof rack on our trucks, but there are times that they are handy!
