It depends on where you sell it, and who too...

2wd blazers are getting more and more popular. Around the Dallas/Ft Worth area, I think the truck would sell for around $3500 if there is indeed bubbling. The bubbles mean that the body is probably rusted through under them. I'm thinking $4000 is just a little bit high, but then again I haven't seen the truck.

Are you buying or selling?
Hard to judge something you haven't seen. I gave $1000 for mine (no motor/trans and unassembled) My friend just sold his running for $2500 to a friend, he could have taken it to Pigeon Forge show and gotten about $3500 for it. (yes, it was that nice!, and yes I wanted it....)

With that said, it is my opinion that any good truck without alot of problems is worth $1000 not running. In the end it is worth as much as you are willing to pay, or as little as he is willing to sell for.

I have one with recent paint, hasnt been driven yet after paint, was 100% rust free original AZ rig, bought new in the town i live in by a lady co-worker.i gave it a big block, regasketed motor, and detailed, new water pump, fuel pump, starter, alt, hei, wires, inner fenders have been powder coated,it was painted with motor out,and nose off so all nooks and crannies are new color(2001 Chevy truck Autumn wood Gold)new hood(original folded in half because of dry hood hinges)new upper and lower grille trim, grille, marker lights,tailights,backbumper,750 Edelbrock,Holley Intake,it has tilt, tach, ralleys.Interior has 73 lowbacks 1 small 1" tear in front seat, all weatherstrip and interior was removed for paint so it needs new weatherstrip, and carpet, and all it needs to be streetable is exhaust.its originally a 350t350 rig,i dont want to finish it,and i want it gone id sell it for $3700 or trade for a 67-80 some 4x4 truck, blazer, burb.i was going to drop it in the weeds, but im not real into 73 ups and i could use a 4x
