way to tell if motor has work done
was wondering if ther is a way to tell if the motor has had work done to it by looking at certain thing it a 305 with a performer rpm intake and a 600cfm holly 4 barrell wich i just figured out just wondering if i can figure any thing else by just looking at stuff thanx in advance

u can tell by the sound of its idle if it has a cam.. if its got an intake and carb alredy,theres not much else that can be done thats not super noticable.. its 305 NOT 350.. it couldhave internal work but its not as likely being a 305

it idles pretty nice not real lopey so i think thats all thats done but didnt know if you could tell by looking at any thing

Run the casting #'s......
Or pull the oil pan....most guys will center punch the rods and mains when rebuilding...
