4x4 help

Ok on my 82 i went out and bought a new set of lock out hubs. The ones that are on there are all worn out so i bought some nice shiny new ones. The ones that are on there now look a little different but made by the same company warn. After removing the screws from the caps I figured that they would just come right off? Wrong. There looks to be a nut or something holding the second half on. Any ideas as to what i need to use and how to get them off? or do i have to tear down the whole front wheel hubs just to do this? Or should i just take it to someone that knows what the he** there doing?

Thanks
Jason

these are fairly simple to work with,

once you take out all the screws and have the outer peice off then there is 2 clips that hold in the rest. one on the centre axle, (some are mising this clip) and one around the outside. its a big one that goes right around the hub. after that screw in 2 of the old screws and pull should come out fairly easily.

hope this helped you out.
