502 /502HP crate motor
Has anyone installed one of these in a 1/2 ton longbed? What coils do you use? Tranny? Challenges?

I put the 502- 450 hp in mine. Used factory big block mounts. I have a 400 turbo trans for now. There were no challenges as mine came with the bb from the factory.

I installed one in a shortbed. I used the regular coils instead of BB coils to soften the ride. TH350 tranny with the tranny mount moved back about an inch.
