blazer /truck door

I guess this is a stupid question, but can you cut down a 72 truck door to fit the blazer (72)? are they the same dims. other than the top and side rail cut out?

That's what I did. Just take a good look at your original Blazer doors to cut correctly.

There is a thread on here showing where to cut. If I remember correctly, it takes 3 cuts per door

Blazer doors are truck doors cut down. They do have some added reinforcements in a couple of areas and the extra little metal tab thing at the top of the door frame (which I don't fully understand what it does). The factory assembly manuals show were to cut.

^^^ I agree, the reinforcement maybe critical to help reduce sag over long periods of time
