check this out.

these are quite common but I found this one in a warehouse where I work and I had to check it out. 85ish. those are the original miles. 125. whole complete truck is mint, showroom condition. has the 6.2, completely original except the tool bed. Im going to wait for this to hit the end of its lift cycle and try to buy it from the govt.

Re: check this out.

SICK!!

i've never been so jealous in my life. to have that truck would basically be my dream vehicle (actually if it were crewcab it would be priceless for me, but still)

edit: and that's kind of interesting that it's not a true CUVC/K30. it's that much cooler/rarer for that reason

edit 2: assuming when you say they are quite common you are including the fact that they are basically brand new, what are the chances of me actually getting one?

we;; I think there may be a crew cab somewhere. I think ive seen one I think. they sit in warehouses here until their lifecycle is up and then they go up for auction to the public, unfortunately the forest service and other govt agencies grab them up before we can get to them. I know there are a few CUCV with bog box/troop carriers going up for auction here soon. usually they will go up for sale in lots, maybe 3 in a lot and bidding starts at $500 for all three but usually ends around $5k-$7k. those wont be in as good of shape but still worth it.

theres also 5-tons and BRAND NEW international dump trucks. Im waiting for either one of these to go up for auction or a 7kw generator.

ill keep you updated as soon as I know something.
