What's everybody doing this summer?
Well, I've been enjoying the Blazer alot the spring and summer. It's the tow rig for the boat. The Jeep does fine but the Blazer just looks cooler. I havent seen too much action on the board so I figured I'd jump start it with a cool topic. Post some pics and stories about what you have done in your Blazer or Jimmy so far this spring and summer. Here's mine so far.

Re: What's everybody doing this summer?
Summer hasn't hit here yet. Today was the first day over 75 in 273 days. It brings our total days over 70 this year to 6.
I still have the hard top on the Blazer, and if things don't warm up, I may not pull the hard top this year.

Re: What's everybody doing this summer?
Sorry to hear that bouncy, its been to hot to go out without top here. Been in the mid 90's for a week.(not enough hair, need a bikini top) But plan on taking a road trip this weekend anyway. Like the boat blue thunder, plan on taking ours out next weekend, cant pull with blazer though not enough horses, enjoy all!

Re: What's everybody doing this summer?
Bentblazer - you need to add some AC and get a soft top that you can roll up the sides. It's nice to cruise on hot days with the AC cranked!

Re: What's everybody doing this summer?
I've been driving mine everyday to teach summer school. It is too hot here to drive with the soft-top up and the daily thundershowers have become a big pain. I agree with bouncy. The sides rolled up makes life pretty good and when the rains come all you have to do is roll the sides down.
I'm going to Nashville in July to the truck show that 5150 is putting on with the rest of the zoo crew from Tenn.

Re: What's everybody doing this summer?
I'd love to take the top off. The body mounts aren't done yet so if i take the top off it will probably fold up like a taco. I can't wait to have a soft top and a working a/c, but that's later down the road. I think I'm gonna take a trip this weekend. Don't know yet for sure, but if I do I'll post some pics.

Re: What's everybody doing this summer?
Ruth's Chris onion rings are the BEST if you like rings. Tommy Bahama's has some pretty good ribs too and I think it's right across the way of Ruth's Chris in Maui. There's a place right around there that's a burger joint, can't remember the name, but I had one of the best burgers I've ever had there...
As for what I've done in the Blazer, I just officially bought one yesterday, so all I did so far was take it for it's first driver...topless. It was great!
