Axle U-Bolts

I need a nice set of rear axle U-Bolts wth nuts that will fit my 86 shorty with a 12 bolt. Mine that are currently on there had to be cut off because they were crossthreaded pretty bad. I guess a good crossthread is better than Loctite any day! Shipped to 27587 please.

Re: Axle U-Bolts

Can't you get them new locally? New U-bolts are inexpensive, and safe insurance vs old and stretched out ones.

Some will disagree, but do the research and don't just trust your eyes when contemplating using old ones.

Just an fyi, incase you have not checked with your local frame/alingment shop. They can usually make you what you need. I know my local frame/alingment/axle repair shop can make u-bolts for what ever dimensions you want.

Check the phone book and find a local spring shop. They will just make you a set.
