it just takes a few things like bags, & a lot of suspension work. nothin a couple of bills & a bunch of sweat won't take care of.

Talking

air bags, dropped spindles, "customized" lower control arms, 4-link rear suspension w/ 4-link frame from the cab back, & 3" body drop plus some various mods & do-dads to get the front end lined up right. Oh yeah, it doesn't "drag frame" - it drags rocker panels - the frame is still 3" off the ground when the truck is siiting on the rockers.

my uncle is rick. he does some bada$$ work *shameless plug* . he has been doing paint and body alot longer than i have been alive. my truck will eventually go down to him for a new coat of marron and white tribal flames. his specialty is flames and fiberglass body work but they put out all kinds of tight stuff. if you ever stop by tell him you know his nephew ryan in dallas.

heres a pic - they have been shortened by cutting the ball joint landing and moving it in about 1.5"-2". the spring buckets were cut out and replaced w/ pipe & plated on the bottom then everything was smoothed to keep the air bags from rubbing on sharp edges.

to help keep the camber in line. also machined billet spacers to put behind the upper control arm mounts. - move the bottom in and the top out & you have correct camber. I hate lowered vehicles w/ tons of negative camber.

one pic of the rear 4link & frame - oh & when I air up I don't have too much pos. caster either . If you find a happy medium - somewherein the middle you can have the best of both worlds. Don't shorten your upper arm unless you are going to really shorten the bottom one. And if you do that then you will have a nasty offset thing to mess with. In hind sight my next project will incorp. the notched croosmember for sure .
